What was the big "reveal" @ ECTS?

Post by T L Hutchins » Tue Mar 29, 2016 7:41 pm

For those of us unable to attend, what was the big "reveal" from Crest at the ECTS ?

Inquiring minds want to know...

According to a post on another website thread, just additional chatter about REVO sound, usb interface but also mention of a new DC power supply for their base Rx (?).

Sadly, reportedly nothing tangible (imho) in hand to view and demo !

Did you see many "young" faces in the crowd?

Specifically that the USB interface software will be available to allow downloading sound files. No announcement of any new sound files.

Supposedly I read somewhere that Lewis or Navin was saying that they had made a recording of at least one live diesel engine, and that this would be available, at some unspecified time, to be downloaded to Revolution receivers. I had hoped that the "'big reveal" would have something to do with that.

When was the Revolution first released? (Not beta, the for sale to the general public).

From the bottom of a LSC thread;

"...Actually, having the show on Good Friday brought in more children then normal. There were small children all over the show. Maybe some seeds were planted, and some of those children will come into the hobby in the coming years. "

So to some of them "young faces", being at the ECLSTS for the first time might have been,
".. the big reveal .." !
