P NP play RS-3

Hi ,Can someone tell the link to change a RS-3 to P-N-P .? I had A link some time ago and I can not find it Thanks Bruce

I think he means plug and play, Ed. As I recall the inside of the RS3 was put in backwards and needs to be turned around so that you can plug in the board for the revolution or else it will not allow the body to be put back on. If you do a search on Brandi Bruce you will get responses that include a link to his article.

I have the info on changing the RS3 around. What is your email address? I can send it to you as an attachment to an email. I have changed some of my RS3's over to accept the revolution.

Thanks, Cal, I'm sure you are correct. I recall that issue being discussed here. My only RS-3 is an early one without the plug and play capability for the Revolution, so I am no help here.

Sometime around September 2012 Garden RR Magazine ran an article with pictures about how to reposition the interior boards and do the attendant rewiring. I believe GRM may still have the article on line with exctra material.

If you send an email to vawoodhick@msn.com I will send you (one or more depending on size limits) pdf's of the project.

I have installed two QSI decoders in my two RS-3's along these lines.
