Mikado Fall Run

Post by Jerry Barnes » Wed Nov 04, 2015 11:20 pm

Finally got the battery in the tender that I got from Navin last year. Been a long time since I ran the Mike. It fired right up and the burner was real smooth, no gurgling or any odd noises. Once up to steam it ran for about 45 minutes before I stopped it. Still had water in the boiler, but was being prudent.
Good plumes.

It's hard to believe these locos are 10 years old. Mine seems to run better over time. Thanks for sharing Later RJD
