Cutoff switch for the Aristo Streamliner Passenger Cars

Post by Roger Lelak » Fri Dec 05, 2014 7:21 pm

Hi All,
Has anyone installed a light shutoff switch for the Aristo Streamliner Passenger Cars. I would like to shut the lights off when running in the day time.

Thanks

I haven't done that but I would think you could mount a switch on the bottom of the car. Just remember, if I remember correctly, the ground for those lights is the body of the car.

Thanks Ed,
I would think to cut one of the wires from the truck and install the switch.

That oughta work just fine. It would probably be a little better if you picked the lead that does not connect to the housing, but you could actually do it either way. I forget about the leads to the trucks since I run battery power.
