3D Printed High Hood

Hello all, Got my High Hood from the 3D printers. Passed fit form and function. Production run parts will be of much higher resolution

Looks great!! Will there be other hoods produced? Like the Canadian wide cab. Peter

I am doing a Wide Cab next. Need some opinions. On the High Hood for the finish product I could print with the bell bracket integral with the grab irons or leave them off as separate items. They would need to be glued on afterwards What would be your advise. Also if any one has a part they liked to have made make a suggestion. See the attached rendering for what the High Hood will look like when it's completed.

Someone in eastern Canada is already producing the wide cab, maybe email Paul Norton at Ottawa Valley GRS he mite have their email or web site or try John Burden at Winona Garden Railway store

Nice looking high hood Bob. How about the nose section for an RS-11 or the cab and short hood section of an RS-1. I'd love to see these done at a reasonable price. I could actually finish a couple projects I want to do.

Yes, they are long gone. I got one of the last ones, if not the last one, available up here.
