hmmm, always been for Roman Catholics+ ! Never heard of the alleged cocacola influence (for 25th)...maybe an olde world thing ;)

And we've always had BoxingDay over here too !!

There is the "12 days of Christmas" .. in this household turn the lights on 12 days before Christmas.... and leave them (on timers) till close to spring to lite-up the darker/longer nites of winter.
