Great idea!

Looks like the drive from York to New Freedom is not too bad. Two more passengers then.

There are a couple of groups on Facebook that could help get the word out; Aristo-Craft trains tribute page and G scale trains.

Please keep us posted, this is a great idea and thank you for trying to put this together.

I think you posted in the wrong thread Tom. This is an excursion thread which is not part of Harry's remit.

Well guys I have been trying to get the SHOW ON TRACK and FUL STEAM AHEAD. We have been doing some FIRSTs for the 2014 ECLSTS. We have been going to some of the Larger All Scales show, getting a booth and advertising/answering questions about our shows and surprisingly "What is G Gauge?" I was shocked at the last question.

I was pleased to see several of the ECLSTS people that attend our show.

The Tee Shirts are IN, AND we are selling a few SWEAT SHIRTS. Great price on the shirts $10.00 and $25.00 for the sweat shirts.

The SHOW CARS should be in this week. A HUGE WORD OF CAUTION We ONLY ordered 100 cars. I was afraid to order MORE because
1. It is NOT a road name car.
2. It is our first year and did not want to end up EXTRA cars left over.
3. This years ECLSTS car will cost for $60.00

I have a website up and running as listed inn the other thread here.

If any one would like to present a seminar or clinic at the 2014 ECLSTS, please let me know.

We do have a Facebook page. It is a closed group but we have not rejected anyone that wants in to the Facebook page.

Thanks and There is still a rumor floating around that the show was cancelled. Well I need you to Correct that rumor if you see or hear it.

We also need youto spread the word about the show.

Thanks and Look forward to seeing you all SOON

Not sure how you guys are progressing with this trip, but there is talk on LSC of the same type of trip on the same Heritage railroad.
I know one or two read that Forum so between the two groups an trip may be on the cards.

Post ECLSTS Train ride

Post by George Councill » Sun Feb 23, 2014 12:04 am

If I can get 60 people, "Steam in to History" will run a pre-season Special for us. Right now I have commitments from 11 people from ECLSTS, and 8 people from my Lions Club. Please check with your friends here and on other train sites and get word to me before Friday 28th February so we can get this special ordered. This is the drop dead date. The Train company needs the time to get things ready, bring in people, etc., for 10:30 A.M. Sunday departure three weeks before their scheduled spring time start up.:D
